The Cook, His Wife & Her Shoes is not just another shoe store.

The creation of Regina Evans, it is a bespoke Shoe Boutique founded on the principle of personal service and love. Regina's love of exquisite handmade shoes and accessories as well as her desire to connect with other women.

After years of disenchantment with Sydney's shoe selection, Regina decided to pursue her dream. She had long dreamed of providing women an experience of luxury & exclusivity when shopping for shoes. To invite women into her very own shoe boudoir where she would offer private fittings, exceptional service and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

The doors to The Cook, His Wife & Her Shoes first opened in 2012 on Crown Street, Surry Hills. Since then Regina has firmly cemented herself as one of the finest shoe retailers in Australia. In 2017 the boutique was relocated to a quaint little terrace in Paddington, now having Regina’s true vision realised.

The boutique is a physical embodiment of all Regina's luxurious imaginings and an extension of her own personal style. A style that she has embodied since her early years in Melbourne. Showcased on Antique furniture you will find Shoe designs that are unique and handmade, gorgeous Italian stockings, silk scarves, elegant accessories and collectable books about shoes for the true enthusiasts.

Complimentary Fittings are made available to every habitué. Enjoy a pot of luxury tea while trying on exclusive styles and designs towards finding your perfect fit. 

Every style of shoe is lovingly chosen, inspected and tested before they are selected for the collection. Regina believes style should not overshadow comfort and she selects only the most luxurious, timeless and individually-inspired designs that are feminine, elegant and a dream to wear.
